Rosemary’s family will greet family, friends, and neighbors on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2-6:00 p.m. for a time of visitation at Buresh Funeral Home, 101 East Michigan Avenue, Au Gres, Michigan.

Rosemary Packard (Starkey) - Formerly of Garden City, Redford & Au Gres, Michigan passed away peacefully at her winter home in Lakeland, Florida on 25 April, 2021.
Rosemary was born June 9, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Peter and Mary (Caton) Cally. She married William Starkey and together they raised sons Richard and Michael. After William’s passing, Rosemary met and eventually married Roy Packard and together they have enjoyed 20 years of marriage. Rosemary was a member of Tawas Area Presbyterian Church and The Red Hat Society. She enjoyed cooking and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rosemary’s life was centered around her family.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Packard; sons, Richard (Lisa) & Michael (Rusty); grandchildren, Ashley (Ben) Whitefoot & Andrew (Genelle) Starkey; as well as two great grandchildren, Henry & Danielle, and one on the way; two brothers; one sister; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation for Rosemary will take place on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2-6 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home, 101 East Michigan Avenue, Au Gres, Michigan 48703. A graveside ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Sims Whitney Township Cemetery in Au Gres, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Online condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
