Obituary Notice

Dennis Allen Little II, resident of Oscoda, Michigan. Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away April 26, 2021, surrounded by family, after a courageous 4-year battle with colon cancer. He was born August 19, 1970 in Midland, Michigan, the son of Dennis Little and Jane Little. Dennis graduated from Hemlock High School and attended Lansing Community College. He started his career as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic and then moved on to General Manager of Operations. Dennis married the love of his life, Irene, in 1997. They are blessed with two sons, Tyler and Jarred. Dennis loved his pontoon, fishing, camping, hunting and garage parties. He was an avid sportsman and a true U of M fan (“GO BLUE!”). Most of all, he cherished his wife, sons, his family, and friends. To know Dennis was to love him! Dennis is survived by his wife Irene, sons: Tyler (Allie) and Jarred (Baylee), sisters: Angie Conquest and Sheri Little (Ernie Plant), mother-in-law Cindy Thiel, 4 sisters-in-laws: Angie Page, Amy (Herb) Morey, Andrea (Pat) Szepanski, Tammi Thiel, and many nieces and nephews: Lakyn, Damien, Shelby, Karlee, Paris, Courtney, Jessica, Nevin, Riley, Wayne, Charlee, Jaden, Addie, and Sofia. Dennis was preceded in death by his father-in-law and grandparents. Dennis will be cremated and his family will be welcoming friends for a time of memorial gathering at the Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda on Thursday, April 29th and again on Friday, April 30th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. With Covid-19 restrictions still in place, visiting guests are required to wear facial covering and please be patient as the funeral home monitors a 25 person limit in the building. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes a donation to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, in memory of Dennis, to support the Child and Family Life Program. This program fund is dedicated to supporting children fighting cancer and their families. Activities and services include holiday celebrations, music, art therapy, and a family resource center.
