Obituary Notice

Age 83, of Oscoda, Michigan, formerly of Bennington, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully October 7, 2018 at his home with family by his side. He was born on September 18, 1935 in Peterborough, New Hampshire to the late William J. and Charlotte (Cuddihy) Taylor. Bill enlisted in the United States Air Force proudly serving for 25 years obtaining Senior Master Sergeant. He was honorably discharged March 11, 1977. Bill also worked for 18 years at Tawas Plating Company retiring in 1997. He married the former Doris Rose Garner on December 6, 1958 and together they raised two daughters, Deborah and Lauri. Bill enjoyed model railroading, gardening and using his programming and scheduling computer skills he honed while in the Air Force. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Doris; daughters, Deborah (William) Schmidt and Lauri (John) Willis; grandchildren, Elaine Schmidt, Eric Schmidt, Jeffrey Schmidt; feline friend, Lovey. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Taylor and Donald Taylor. According to Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
