William A. Foley of Twining, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2015 at 91 years of age.
Mr. Foley was born August 16, 1923 in Middleport, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army World War II PFC Veteran and had received a purple heart. On August 20, 1947 he married Tracey Draft. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1975 after 33 years of service and in 1978 he started Bills Green House which he operated for 15 years. He had served as the Mason Township Trustee and enjoyed camping and fishing on the pontoon boat. Mr. Foley was whitty and had a great sense of humor. If asked where are you going he would answer "to see a man about a dog" or How are you doing? he would reply "I’m still kicking".
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Tracey. Children; Sharon (Jim) Tolfree, Chris Neiman and Becky (Bob) Oatman. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Foley, sister-in-law, Gary Neiman, grandsons’; Cliff Lemcool and James Tolfree II, his parents; John and Rebecca Foley along with 12 siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Twining Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home, 15 Mapleridge Road. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 3:00 P.M. Interment along with military honors will be held at Cedar Valley Cemetery with Pastor Devin Chisholm officiating.
