Obituary Notice

Wayne Clair Allen, age 80, of Hale passed away on Thursday September 13, 2018. He was born on January 5, 1938 to the late Delois and Doris Allen in Hale, MI. He was a sprinkler fitter for Bayline Fire Protection for 61 years. Wayne enjoyed watching the Tigers, singing, listening to music, and wood carving. He was a part of the Happy Chippers Carving Club. Wayne spent many hours hunting as well as fishing with his wife on their boat, Jano. They spent 30 summers on Drummond Island, MI. Wayne loved spending time with his family, laughing and sharing stories.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Janis Allen; his children, Ronnie (Val) Allen of Hale, Terry (Dianne) Allen of Hale, and Cindy Allen of Hale; his siblings, Sharon Dodder, Kim (Lynn) Allen, and Kristie Wilson; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Beth) Allen, Jaime (Joe) Kimmerer, Caleb (Sarah) Allen, Roni (Blake) Sisco, Nicole (Jacob) Farrand, and Tyler (Courtney) Allen; great grandchildren, Courtney Allen, Joseph Kimmerer, Dalaney Kimmerer, Rylee Sisco, Corbin Allen, Jaylyn Sisco, Kendra Allen, Aleese Kimmerer, Gavin Sisco, Aubrey Farrand, Brayden Farrand, and Reece Allen; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday September 21, 2018 at 11AM at the Hale Chapel of Buresh Funeral Homes with a visitation one hour prior. The service will be officiated by Pastor Melvin Leach. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
