Funeral service for Tom will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Buresh Funeral Home, 101 East Harrison Street, Prescott, Michigan 48756. Pastor Doug Kennedy will officiate with interment to follow in Mills Township Cemetery in Prescott, Michigan.

Obituary Notice

Thomas “Tom” Beatenhead, age 44 of Prescott, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2020.

He is survived by his beloved wife; Staci. Dear children; Devin (Kassidy) Santiago and Sarah (Alexander) Beatenhead-Santiago. Adored granddaughter; LoraLai Santiago. Mother; Debi (Glen) Drake of Flint, MI and father; Marty (Margaret) Beatenhead of Flushing, MI. Brother; Chris Beatenhead of Grand Blanc. Mother-in-law; Peggy (Dale) Kocks of Rose City. A nephew, nieces, extended family and many friends also survive.

Mr. Beatenhead was preceded in death by his grandparents; August and Freda Sack, step-father; Dan Benjamin and father-in-law; Jose Santiago.

At an early age, Tom was featured in a Michigan Outdoors episode for a Walleye he had caught and his passion for the outdoors and nature never slowed down from there. He enjoyed cutting wood, snowmobiling, motorcycles, hunting and “tinkering” with anything mechanical. Most recently, Tom recommitted his life to Jesus.

The family will receive friends at the Buresh Funeral Home 101 East Harrison Street, Prescott, Michigan 48756 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2020 until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Mills Township Cemetery.

Note: Due to State Regulations regarding the Corona Virus, Tom’s funeral will be limited to immediate family only.
