I'm so sorry for the loss of Thomas. I understand how painful it is to lose someone you love, for I just unexpectedly lost my uncle early last year. Something that brings me comfort and that I wanted to share with you is the promise found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Yes, soon you will have the chance to welcome Thomas back in perfect health to a beautiful new paradise earth in which God promises to "swallow up death forever." (Isaiah 25:8; 2 Peter 3:13) Until that time, may you continue to find great comfort in the God of all comfort, Jehovah God, and in his promises sure to be fulfilled in the future. (1 Corinthians 1:3,4) Again, my deepest condolences go out to your family during this especially difficult time.
