Obituary Notice

Stephen Marvin Rakowski, age 48, of Twining, Michigan passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 30, 2020.

Stephen was born March 10, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan to Marvin Walter and Susan Kay Wood. After graduation, Stephen enlisted in the United States NAVY serving from 1991-1993 during the Persian Gulf War. Upon discharge he was a truck driver and worked construction and enjoyed fishing and boating. Although Stephen has passed, he will live on in the lives that he will touch as he was a Gift of Life donor!

Stephen is survived by his daughters, Jordyn A. Rakowski and Miranda L. Rakowski; mother, Susan Kay Mitleff; sister, Paralee (Shawn) Hendrickson; granddaughter Renesmae; four nephews, one niece, and countless friends who will miss him dearly. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Marvin W. Rakowski and a brother, Jefferey Thomas Bailey.

A gathering of family and friends will take place Friday, June 5, 2020 at Buresh Funeral Home, 15 West Maple Ridge Road, Twining, Michigan 48766 from 3-7:00 p.m. Due to the restrictions of the coronavirus, the number of guests will be limited at a time, however, all will be welcome.
