Obituary Notice

Shirley Stange, age 86, of National City, Michigan formerly of Bay City, Michigan passed away Wednesday morning, April 10, 2019 with her daughter by her side at her home.
Shirley was born January 23, 1933 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Charles Saunders and Minnifred (Boutell) Moulthrop. She married William Stange on August 7, 1986 and he preceded her in death. Shirley was a member of D.A.R., Y.W.C.A. where she served as treasurer for many years. She was also a Sand Lake Ladies Auxiliary member.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Robert) Koons; step son, Brian (Martha) Stange; grandchildren, Emily (Ryan) Jae, Elizabeth (Eric) Landoll, Benjamin Koons,Dominic Stange,Hailey Stange and Ethan Stange; nieces and nephew. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Bill on January 13, 2019; brother, Charles Saunders Moulthrop, Jr.
Visitation for Shirley will take place 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Buresh Funeral Home, 416 Whittemore Street, Tawas City, Michigan. Funeral ceremony will follow at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Gabriel Martin officiating. Shirley’s family will then welcome friends from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home, 608 North Madison Avenue, Bay City, Michigan 48708. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Bill, at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Bay City, Michigan.
