Shirley McGinnis
Age 80 of National City, Michigan passed away peacefully at her home on June 4, 2018 surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born the daughter of Melvin and Eleanor March on August 9, 1937 in Flint, Michigan. Shirley loved deer hunting, gardening and was a loyal Detroit Tigers fan. She is survived by her daughter’s, Tammie Verbowski (Dave Cronk), Terri (Douglas) King, son, Vernon Ray (Candice) McGinnis II. Grandchildren; Erica Martin, Eli Martin, Aaron Wilbur, Michael Wilbur, Bradley Verbowski, Samantha McGinnis, Vernon Ray McGinnis III, Rylee Teague and great grandchildren; Kayden Verbowski and two step great grandchildren Cheyenne and Wyatt Martin. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Buresh Funeral Home with Deacon Paul Wooten officiating, internment will follow at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City, Michigan. Condolences may be shared at
