Sarah Jane Beaubien, age 92, of Tawas City died on Sunday October 31, 2010 at the Clarkston Speciality and Rehabilition Center in Clarkston, Michigan. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 15, 1918 to the late Daniel and Sarah Sleeper (nee Horner). She lived the majority of her life as a housewife and homemaker in Pontiac, Michigan. She moved to Tawas City, Michigan with her husband, Ray J. Beaubien, who she married on June 2, 1969 in Pontiac, Michigan. Sarah enjoyed gardening, sitting on her porch, watching the wildlife and visiting with her family. Sarah is survived by her 4 children, Keith (Susan) Dempsey of Lake Orion, Michigan, Ron (Debbie) Dempsey of Waterford, Michigan, Jim (Carol) Dempsey of Waterford, Michigan, and JoElma (Ralph) Morgan of Auburn Hills, Michigan; 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Jodi, Jan, Mike, Tom, Mark, and Steve; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters-in law; Pearl Frank, Blanche Alda, and Francis Beaubien; 8 nieces and nephews, Mary Spencer, Russell Beaubien, Dorothy Fern, Tom Beaubien, Judy Pelletier, Virginia Duvall, Mary Holdeman, and Glen Alda. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Ray J. Beaubien. Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 4, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral and Kobs Funeral Home in Tawas City with Pastor Rob Nordin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Interment will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Tawas City.
