Funeral services for Ryan will be held on Saturday August 10th – 10 am at St. James Catholic Church in Whittemore, MI.
Ryan Gordon Revord was born in Tawas City, MI May 9th 1986. He passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019. Ryan was the youngest child of Gordon and Mary Alice Revord. He is survived by his children Gordon and Aubrey Revord, his Grandmother Dorothy Alejski, his brother Nathan Revord, sister in law Elizabeth Revord, his nieces Olivia and Gracelin, and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Ryan loved life and everything it had to offer. He has worked all over the country in every environment there is. From the Alaskan snow to the swamps of the bayou and everywhere in between Ryan showed what working was. He broke his back working and kept on going for years. He excelled to the rank of a Journeyman lineman in the IBEW local 876 and was very proud of it. In his 33 year tragically short life he accomplished so much. His greatest accomplishment was being the best father he could be. He was whatever he had to be in life and everyone that worked with him will tell you how outstanding he was.
When he wasn't working he loved life. Everything from breakfast to smoking ribs was excellent when he cooked. He loved concerts and music and his cd collection rivaled the best radio stations. His love for riding was insane, and he had more miles on his Harley than anyone I know. He had driven all across the country and was proud of the odometer on his bike.
Ryan was a passionate person and the friends he made were for life. He will be missed by everyone that knew him and loved by anyone who thinks of him. Funeral services for Ryan will be held on Saturday August 10th – 10 am at St. James Catholic Church in Whittemore, MI. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Buresh Funeral Home in Twining, MI. You may offer condolences at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.

I recently met Ryan when he came in with his co-workers to eat at the restaurant I work at. He was absolutely hilarious and full of life. We bantered and joked back and forth the entire time and he shared his love for his job and children with me. I am so sorry to hear about his accident. Hoping for peace and understanding for the family, especially his children.
Rest In Peace young man you are now in heaven with your mom and dad.

Both my husband and I got the privilege of working and getting to know Ryan. My husband went through his apprenticeship with Ryan and then we all worked at HW together. Ryan was a hoot over the years. Whenever he called into the office, we would talk about our children, our lives, and whatever was on our minds. He was so kind and thoughtful. He had such a love for his children and life in general. I am grateful our family got to know him, if only for a short period of time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his children, family and all the lives that he has encountered and blessed. May you find comfort in all the memories you have collected throughout the years and are able to celebrate that Ryan made the best of his life!

He was funny, charismatic and always laughing/joking/getting into mischief! He was one of my favorites! My heart goes out to Ryan’s family, his children and to ALL who loved him!
