ROSEMARY S. REILLY of Hale, age 67, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at home, surrounded by her family.
She was born August 15, 1945 in West Branch, Michigan
to the late August and Christine Green (nee Norton). She married Walter “Pat” Reilly on May 23, 1964 in West Branch and they resided in Hale.
Rosemary is survived by her five children; Kimberly (Rick) VanHorn, Richard (Dana) Reilly, Patrick (Susan) Reilly, Kamara (Mike) Runyan and Todd Reilly all of Hale, 16 grandchildren; Allan and Amie VanHorn, Shanna (Allen) Miotke, Ryan (Heather), Samantha, Christine and Katlyn Runyan, Leslie, Carmen, Garrett, Michael (Kacey), Eric, Kelsey, Kyle and Trent Reilly and Amanda (Robert) Zanon., 8 great-grandchildren; Alec, Trevor, Khloe, Kylie, Payton, Aubrey, Bobby and Garret. One brother, Nicholas (Darlene) Green and a sister-in-law, DeeAnn Green. Great friends, Basil and Karen O’Dell and Carol and LeRoy Short. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter “Pat” Reilly, parents, August and Christine Green, in-laws, Richard and Georgia Matthews and Walter and Jeweldeen Reilly, brothers; John, Tom, Pat and Fred Green.
Mrs. Reilly was a clerk with Plainfield Township and the treasurer for four years. She enjoyed reading, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 15, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3901 N. M-65 in Hale. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 Noon until 8:00 P.M. at the Hale Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington and Saturday at church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 10:00 A.M. There will be a rosary service, Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Esmond-Evergreen Cemetery in Hale. Those wishing to express words of sympathy may do so at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
