Dear Cathy and Family,
This is such a great loss I'm having a hard time believing Ron has passed. There was so much I wanted to thank him for, and had planned on visiting with all of you this summer.
My father thought the world of Ron and you Cathy, and mentioned what a wonderful couple you were so many times.
I'm lifting for your entire family, and so glad that Ron was such a fantastic friend to so many, including me and my parents.
God's Blessings on you... Vic
— Victor Connelly

My sincere condolences to Ron's family and friends. I first met Ron at Lake of the Ozarks, Mo back in '92. He impressed me then and still when I talked with him and Mike at Denton Hill in 2017. He was a true gentleman and one dandy bowyer.

I only met Mr. Pittsley one time, but he made a lifelong impression. I will remember how friendly he was and his willingness to help anyone who inquired. He built some very beautiful bows.
