I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Elliott. He was a dear, kind man with a great sense of humor and a very large heart. I always enjoyed hearing him express his feelings and views of things. He was an old fashioned gentleman, displaying the qualities of a time gone by. My last conversation with him was at a company Christmas party a while back and we were sharing stories about his sons Kevin and Charlie. I told him how thankful I was to work with them, I am glad I shared that with him and I could tell he was very proud of them. My condolences to all of the Elliott family at this most difficult time. May God bring you comfort and peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Elliott family. I knew Both both as a fellow insurance agent active in MAIA and later as a staff member (now retired) of MAIA. He was always fun to work with and he always got the job done! The insurance industry in Michigan has lost a good champion!
Jerry Forro, East Tawas, MI USA
We will miss his great positive spirit. His "it doesn't get any better than this " and "Amen, brother". This fundamental affirmation of the value of others given by one who lived a truly valuable life. We will miss the sound of his voice. One thing that always brought a smile was him honking the horn as a greeting ...we will miss that

Aileen and the Elliott Family,
Some of my best memories from childhood centered around the Elliott family, especially Bob and Aileen. Still, today, I cannot hear the Notre Dame fight song without thinking of Bob. He'd sing it so loud we could hear it at our house, down the road. He was a great guy who left the world a better place.
May God continue to bless your family and may the wonderful cheerful memories of Bob be a source of comfort you your family during this difficult time of loss.

To the Elliott Family:
A sad day when I heard that Bob had passed away. Bob was a great guy and one very hard to say goodbye too.
Bob supported the American Legion Post here in East Tawas much before my time. He always was supportive of other veterans and supported the existence of the post at each and every occurrance where he could help and he did.
Good bye Bob and my sympathy is extended to those that you left behind. A huge void that could never be well filled.
