I believe I met him about 10-15 years ago. Prior to that I had stopped at his business once looking for a part. I don't remember him from the store; BUT, Carol & I were in A hotel dining room in Bremen GA., when he & A son, and their ladies came in to have Breakfast. As They walked behind me I turned just enough to see the back of their jackets. They got their food and sat @ A table next to us. I introduced Carol & myself. They told me they make that trip every year for a mud bogging race !!!!! I told them my daughter & her kids live about a mile or so, before they would turn into the mud bogging area. 1100 Miles from home, and Meet folks from this area !!!! Enjoyed talking with them all. Sorry to hear of Bob's Passing !!!!!!!!

The Carvers and Morans have known our neighbors the Shorts since our property was purchased in 1953. As for Bob, he was the best neighbor anyone could have. He was always there if you needed a hand. He was a very good hunter as well and always managed to get the biggest buck among the neighbors. I always knew when he got a deer as I knew the sound of his rifle and direction. There's so much I could say about Bob and it was a real pleasure to know him all these years and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to Roxanne as well as all the Shorts. GOD BLESS, VINCE CARVER--- HAL MORAN
