Robert J. Squires
Hale, Michigan

Robert J. Squires of Hale, MI; December 3, 2009 at 81 years of age. Born July 21, 1928 to Milo and Elizabeth (nee Sny) Squires. Mr. Squires was a retired automotive mechanic, a member of the American Legion, the Elks Club and a former long time volunteer with the East Tawas Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce. Children, James Squires of Hale, William (Jeannie) Squires of Whittemore, Rose Mary Squires of Alger and Michael (Coni) Squires of Huston, TX. Grandchildren, Rhonda, Erin, Jason Shyanne and Tamber and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Mary Nielson and Millie Dewald. Preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and DC and one sister, Helen McCormick.

A memorial service along with military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Hale Chapel of the Buresh-Bennett Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington. Sorry to hear about the loss of Grandpa. Wish I could be there in your time of need. I wish he could have met the monster, she would have given him many laughs and joy. I love you both very much and miss you every day.
