Obituary Notice

Robert F. Maxwell, age 46, of Prescott, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 with his family at his side following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 21, 1973 in Pontiac, Michigan to Carl & Judith (Moore) Maxwell. He graduated from Whittemore-Prescott High School Class of 1991 where he was a state competitor in wrestling. Upon graduation he went to a technical institute in Chicago to become a mechanic. He eventually became a journeyman ironworker with Local Union No. 25. He has worked for Kirby Steel Inc. of Burton, MI for the last 13 years. He married Tracey Pavlik on November 28, 1992 in West Branch, MI. Bob’s passion was racing motorcycles on both dirt and ice with his wife and friends. He enjoyed camping, watching his kids play sports, fixing and building machines and spending time with family and friends.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Tracey of Prescott; daughter, Jordan of Grand Rapids; son Bobby of Prescott; parents, Carl & Judy Maxwell of Prescott; brothers, Chuck Burtch of Whittemore, Bill Burtch of Sterling; father-in-law, Sam Pavlik of Prescott; a niece & 5 nephews and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Pamela Pavlik and grandmother, Pearl Arndt.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm and again on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 10 am until the time of the memorial service at 1 pm at the Judson Baptist Church in Prescott with Pastor Doug Kennedy officiating.
