Obituary Notice

Richard Williams, age 70, of West Branch, MI, formerly of Flint, passed away at his home on June 6, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on June 4, 1946 in Flint, MI to William & Grace (Stinson) Williams. He was a lineman at Fisher Body & Buick City prior to his retirement in 1994. Richard liked to hunt and fish. He loved snowmobiling, camping, and making crafts. He truly loved the outdoors.
Richard married his wife of 27 years, Donna J. Campbell in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Donna of West Branch; children, Michael (Jill) Williams of Oscoda, Amy Williams of Davison, Charles Thom of Mt. Morris, Tanya Thom of Alger, Sierra Williams of West Branch, and Richard Williams of West Branch; grandchildren, Jack, Kellen, Hadley, Brody, Breighlyn, Hailey, Brianna, and Jozlyn; sister, Laura (Norman) Dues of Flint, brothers, Danny Williams of Mt. Morris, Gerald (Sandy) Williams of FL, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David B. Williams & Tom Williams and a grandson, Tyler Van Horn.
Per the family's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.


So sorry for your loss Donna and family. William was an absolute pleasure to take care of and to meet. only sorry we had to meet under such circumstances. Prayers to you and your family.
