I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your loved one, Richard. It seems like he was a great person and will be missed by so many. It is always so hard to lose someone you love, and never gets easier. Something that has brought me real hope and comfort is the promise of seeing our deceased loved ones again. We can find this promise in the Scriptures at John 5:28, 29: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Come out to where? The Bible further promises that in the near future God will change our earth into a beautiful paradise in which suffering and death will be a thing of the past. (2 Peter 3:13; Isaiah 65:17; Isaiah 25:8) Until that time, may you find deep comfort in the "God of all comfort," Jehovah God. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Again, my deepest condolences are with your family during this very difficult time.
