My condolences to the Fairless family. Mr. Fairless was an outstanding teacher and coach, a great asset to the Tawas Schools. I remember as young students, stopping by his house, and he would show us different stones he was polishing. He would take the time to visit with us and spark our interest in science. Coach would open the gym at Tawas City Elementary so we could play basketball. He will be missed but left his mark.

Fran and Family,
Sending condolences on behalf of our McIntosh family, very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He will be missed by many.
I wanted to share a happy memory, that came back to me after our mother, Jo McIntosh, passed in mid-February (a few days after Dick). In going through our family pictures while I was home - I came across a very fun picture of our father, Bill McIntosh (who had taught/coached for many years with Dick and who of course, knew you from high school, cheer leading and all), mom and me - with all of us dressed up on our way to your wedding reception (which I seem to remember may have been at the Country Club).
The family story came rushing back to me - that I think dad may have played a small "matchmaker" part in introducing/connecting you and Dick, those many years ago! Both our parents thought so much of you and Dick as individuals, and as great life partners.
Fran, I hope this happy memory will be a bright spot for you and your family during this tough time...
— Lori McIntosh-Jennings
