Obituary Notice

Randy Frederick Proulx, age 58, of Au Gres, Michigan passed away Wednesday evening, October 14, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.

Randy was born February 21, 1962 to Leon Frederick and Nancy Jane (Prater) Proulx. He worked many years as a program architect in the healthcare field. Randy will be remembered for his quick wit and how intelligent and funny he was. Although he had many health problems over the years, he never complained and always had a positive attitude. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Randy had many hobbies including wood working and welding as well as an avid baseball and football fan. In his later years he enjoyed cooking as well.

Randy is survived by his son, Samuel L. Proulx of Phoenix, Arizona; mother, Nancy J. Proulx of Au Gres, Michigan; brothers, Ted Proulx of West Palm Beach, Florida and Jon (Kim) Proulx of Raleigh, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Joleen Proulx of Minnetonka, Minnesota; nieces, Jeniffer Bishop, Lexi Proulx and Aly Proulx; great nephews, Jackson and Harrison; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Leon F. Proulx in 2016 and his brother, Ken Proulx in 2020.

According to Randy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest in Linwood Cemetery in Au Gres, Michigan. Online condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
