Randy Allen Goodman
Age 48 of Tawas City, Michigan and longtime resident of Standish, Michigan passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born to Leonard and JoAnn (nee Gliniecki) Goodman on October 22, 1968. Randy graduated in 1986 from Standish – Sterling Central High School. He continued his education and graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a degree in Communications. Randy was a “Jack of all Trades”. Over the years, he worked in the family business, as a radio personality, as a salesman and as a handyman.
Randy was always helping others. He was first to volunteer to coach his kids' sports teams, help at their school or participate in charity events. He was quick to offer anyone advice, a helping hand or simply a sarcastic comment to evoke a smile. Randy loved music and played several different instruments. He was a member of a local band for many years and would often break out into song wherever he was. Randy will be remembered for his friendly personality, quick wit, and infectious laugh.

Randy is survived by his wife Melissa (nee Kendall) whom he married on September 24, 2016 in Tawas City at Zion Lutheran Church. Also surviving are his children; Logan, Nolan, Landi and Skylr Goodman, stepchildren; Aaron Mosciski, Cheyenne and Wyatt Martin; his father and step-mother, Leonard and Rosemarie Goodman; his mother JoAnn Goodman; his sister Janette Kukla; grandchildren Elhana and Emmett Mosciski; father and mother–in-law Dale and Bonnie Kendall; brothers-in-law Jeremy (Emily), Andrew (Melissa) and Todd Kendall, in addition to many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents; Enos and Dorothy Goodman, Joseph and Gloria Gliniecki; nephew Derek Dennett, and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City.
