Obituary Notice
Randall "Randy" Lee Morgan, of Whittemore, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 3, 2019, age 68 years. Randy was born on August 5, 1951 in Saginaw to Edward and Thelma (Hardy) Morgan. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw with the class of 1969. Shortly after his graduation, he enlisted to serve our country in the Army during the Vietnam war. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, Randy went to work for General Motors in Saginaw. He worked for General Motors in the Foundry Department up until his retirement in 1995. Randy had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid hunter of deer, bear, turkey, upland birds, waterfowl, small game, and so much more! He also loved fishing and spending time in his garden. He was a skilled crafter and truly enjoyed woodworking. Randy will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Pennie Sue Morgan, to whom he married on June 17, 1989 in San Diego, California. Randy is also survived by his children, Chad (Amy) Morgan of St. Charles, Brian Morgan of St. Charles, Zach Morgan (Crystal Furgeson) of Gladwin, and Chelsea Morgan of Clinton Township; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 1 brother, Richard (Sandy) Morgan of North Carolina; sister in law, Peggy (Dave) Lee of Flushing; 2 brothers in law, Alan (Pam) Garcia of Milan, and Paul Garcia; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Randy is preceded in death by his parents, a son Jeremy Morgan, and a sister and a brother. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will celebrate his life through a memorial service on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott. Randy's family will welcome friends at the funeral home Monday from 2:00 PM until the time of the memorial service.
