A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Buresh Funeral Home (101 Harrison Road, Prescott, Michigan 48756) with Pastor Doug Kennedy officiating with burial to follow at Mills Township Cemetery.

Obituary Notice

Ramona Ann Hamilton, age 66 of Prescott, formerly of Clio, Michigan, walked into eternal life on June 25, 2020.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years; Herbert. Loving children; Monica Machado of Clio, Rojer (Julie) of Gwinn, Michael Machado of Prescott and Randy (Joy) Gerow of Mackinaw City. Step-Children; Angelique (Tom) Wise of North Carolina, Kimberly Rose of Mt. Morris, Bobbie JoAnn Piper of Mt. Morris and Stacey (Brandon) Aulph of Lapeer. 20 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Sister; Claudette Nelson of Kalamazoo and Brother; Lonnie (Linda) Mears of Muskegon. Step-Brothers; Donnie (Heidi) Gaines of Saginaw, Darwin Gaines of Prescott and Dale Mears of Prescott. Step-Sister; Glenda Olivares of Alger. Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

Ramona was an Auxiliary Member of the American Legion Post #370 of Skidway, Auto City VFW #3087 of Flint and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3609 of Clio. She enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, archery, hunting, gardening and cherished time spent with her family and friends.

Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her mother; Mary Ann Gaines, Father; Raymond Mears, Brother; Ricky Mears, Brother; Ronnie Mears and her Step-Sister; Cammie Gaines.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Buresh Funeral Home (101 Harrison Road, Prescott, Michigan 48756) with Pastor Doug Kennedy officiating and burial will follow at Mills Township Cemetery.

The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 11:00 AM Thursday until the time of service.
