Ralph W. Rose
Prescott, Michigan

RALPH W. ROSE of Prescott, passed away May 28, 2012 at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City, Michigan at 78 years of age.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Donna. Children; Debbie (Floyd) Best, Michelle Simonis and Larry (Christina) McElroy, Jr. Nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren along with one sister, Jane (Tom) Bergquist. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Frank Simonis, III, his parents, William and Lena (nee Wager) Rose, grandmother, Nora Wager, uncle, Russell Wager and aunt, Marie Best.

Mr. Rose was an E-7 Master Sargent with the Air Force and served during the Korean and Vietnam era. He had the honor of flying Air Force One under four presidents; Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. He was a member of both the Skidway Lake American Legion and VFW. He was a supervisor at GAO Precision in West Branch for over 20 years. He enjoyed watching race cars and fishing, loved puzzles and most of all loved his dogs. Ralph was always there to help others and will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Prescott Chapel, 101 Harrison Street, Prescott. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. Interment along with military honors at Richland Township Cemetery, Pastor Doug Kennedy officiating.
