Obituary Notice

Quinn Michael McGillis, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 in Grant Township, age 40 years. Quinn was born on October 2, 1978 in Alma, Michigan. He dearly cherished and adored his family and loved spending time with his boys! Quinn also had a passion for the outdoors enjoying hunting and fishing. He will be forever cherished by everyone who has known and loved him. Quinn is survived by his wife, Vickie McGillis, to whom he married on October 26, 2002; his 3 sons, Grady, Griffin, and Gideon; 1 daughter, Berta Hall; his parents, Ivan and Sandy Watts of Tawas City; 3 sisters, Aimee (Fred) Bellinger of West Branch, Heather (Russ) Hayden of Houghton Lake, and Cora (Josh) Dick of McBain; step-brother, Brian (Michelle) Watts of Tawas; grandmother, Leora "Joann" Story of Wheeler, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Cremation has taken place and there will be a service for Quinn on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Tyler Bischoff officiating. Quinn's family will welcome friends at Holy Family Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday.
