Obituary Notice

Pearl Elnora Arndt, age 88, of Prescott, MI passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at her home with the loving support of her family at her side. She was born on July 21, 1929 in Prescott to Raymond & Primrose (Ryan) Poskitt. Pearl married the love of her life, Earl Arndt, on June 29, 1947.

Pearl cherished time with her family. She loved music, dancing, oil painting, and baking. She was known for her pies and homemade bread. She and Earl enjoyed spending their leisure time traveling, taking photographs, tending their flowers, gardening, and reminiscing about the good old days.

Pearl is survived by her son, Eugene (Jane) Arndt of Whittemore; sisters, Fern Arndt of Prescott, Bonnie Fisk of Prescott, AZ; daughter-in-law, Darlene Arndt of Prescott; sons-in-law, Samuel Pavlik of Prescott & Dean Erickson of Prescott; grandchildren, Jeff Arndt, Mike (Shauna) Arndt, Jennifer Woodruff, Angie (Tony) Lyons, Kristy Bergquist, Steven Grabow, Amy (Steven) Schmidt, Tracey (Robert) Maxwell, Jody (Tim) Yorton, Nicole Pavlik, Rod (Tiffany) Erickson, Rick (Megan) Erickson, Toni (Tom) Forton; many great and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; children, Pam Pavlik, Donald Arndt, Darlene Erickson; brother, Jack Poskitt.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held at the Richland Township Cemetery beside her husband, Earl at a date and time to be announced. Online condolences may be made to the family to the family at

Yes we mourn our loved ones as they pass but be comforted knowing that Aunt Pearl is no longer suffering or in pain. She has always been such a sweet person. We will pray that Jesus puts a comforting arm around all of you in this difficult time.
