Orvle L. Henson

Age 92, of Tawas City, MI and formerly of Ann Arbor, MI passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 13, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Bennett and Melva Henson (nee Driskill). Orvle worked as a mason by trade and he owned Henson Construction of Ann Arbor. He was the former President of FISH, Inc. of Tawas City. He is survived by former wife, Jean Henson and his 3 children, Danny Henson of Chelsea, MI, Pamela (David) Bell of Brighton, MI, Lynne (Mark) Galloway of Louisville, KY; brother Roy (Neva) Henson of Grand Rivers, KY, brother Dr. Willis (Bea) Henson of Paducah, KY, brother Don (Velda) Henson of Ledbetter, KY and sister Dorothy Stacy of Metropolis, IL. Orvle is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jeannette (Jeremy) Bell White, Steven (Alicen) Bell, Damon (Kate) Henson, Drew Henson, Rebecca (Scott) Galloway Burroughs; 6 great grandchildren, Madison, Carson and Emerson Bell, James White, Harper and Evie Henson and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Paul Henson and two sisters, Gladys Schoening and Del Henson. Private arrangements have been made and the place of interment will be the Bethlehem Cemetery in Ann Arbor, MI.
