Obituary Notice

Nancy Lucille Bell, age 83 of Rose City, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2020 with her family by her side.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years; Kenneth. Loving children; Joseph Bell, Jennifer West and Jon (Patti) Bell. Seven adored grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Bell was born on December 18, 1936 in Rose City, Michigan to the late Edward and Elinor Killackey and continued to live in Rose City all of her life. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird watching and was a founding partner in the Ogemaw County Fair. Nancy worked as a school aide and retired from the Rose City School System and to many of the students, she was known as “Ma Bell”. She had a passion for knitting and crocheting hats, gloves and scarfs to donate to the children at Rose City Elementary. Nancy was loved by her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all.

Cremation has taken place. No service is scheduled.

It was always great to see Nancy. She had a great smile and kind words to say. I remember her as a 4-H leader when I first came for the summer of 79. Then once o moved here, at RCE I got to work with her when I was driving the school buses. She will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss.
