Condolences

Dad, I wish I could have had more time with you, your love for us kids, is irreplaceable. I’m going to miss your voice, jokes, advice and the love you shared for us and all your grandbabies. I’m going to miss watching mountain men with you and going hunting and fishing with you. The only thing I won’t miss is the pain you went through or your soul. For your soul will always be here with us. Love you.
— Gabriel Bingaman

Mike and Cathy, I didn’t know that the last time you were here would be our last time together! I know as Gabe does, that your spirit will be with us and that you know how hard we prayed you could stay with us a while longer. You and Cathy have together so long ,since you were just children and I am sure you will be be with her in spirit for a long time to come. We love you Mike, and will think of you so often. Love, hugs and prayers to your family as they travel on. Until we see you again! Ronnie and La Rae

As I write this it doesn’t seem possible that Mike is gone. Back many years ago when we use to hunt, fish and just generally hang out together, He just always somehow seemed indestructible. I’m glad I knew Mike and will always have those great memories.

He was never afraid of anything--the toughest guy I have had the honor of knowing and calling dad. He fought and survived through damn near everything--it's impressive to say the least. He built a career doing something he loved, and passed the knowledge he had on to his kids. For the man who loved his family with everything he had; for the man who always had the answer if you had the question; for the man who was always there day or night if you needed him-- we all love you and miss you dearly. Keep watching over us all.
