Age 34, of East Tawas, Michigan passed away on February 18, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He was born the son of Ronald and Ann (Bissonette) Thompson on October 21, 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona. Mike graduated from Tawas Area High School Class of 2004. During his career he worked as a heavy machine operator for the United States Gypsum. Mike’s favorite pastime was playing pool for the last five years for the Oscoda Pool League at the VFW and the Edelweiss, he enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved spear fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Jennifer (Casper) whom he married on March 23, 2012 and his beautiful girls Brianna and Brooklyn, his mother Ann and many extended family members and friends. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Kendall Hunting Camp, a time will be announced at a later date. I remember back in 2010, Jenny had started dating Mike, and I told her that I had a bad feeling about him. I was so wrong. He turned out to be such a wonderful father and husband for Jenny. Rest in peace Mike.
