Maxine Eva Mandock

Age 89, of East Tawas, Michigan former resident of Flint, Michigan died under the loving care of her family and hospice on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her home. She was born the daughter of William and Jenevieva (Thomas) Schultz on April, 29, 1929 in McIvor, Michigan. Maxine married her best friend Robert Mandock on October 7, 1950 and together they shared 54 years of marriage and raised five children. Maxine loved golfing, bowling, going to the casinos and most of all, spending time with her family taking long day trips, never having a destination in mind. She is survived by her children; Denice (Bill) Paling, Debbie (Rick) Dulaney, John (Diane) Mandock, Danielle (Bill) Climer and Diane Isaac; her sister, Golda Walker; her brother, William Schultz; 12 grandchildren, Scottie, Michelle, Billy,Ryan, Steph, Angie, Jeff, Jenny, Brock, Krysten, Andrea and Carly; 22 great – grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and sisters, Irene “Ike” McCormick, Eileen “Fuzzy” McArdle and Shirley “Scoot” Rapp. Private services will be held with inurnment at the American Legion Cemetery where she will be reunited with her husband Robert.
