Obituary Notice

Martha N. Miller, of East Tawas, died on January 24, 2018 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital, age 64. Martha was born on December 2, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to Martin and Betty (Tomaszewski) Nowosad. Martha worked for Tawas St. Joseph Health Systems for 24 years and was currently employed at Huron Family Medicine for the last 20 years with Dr. Michael Wagner. Martha married Paul Miller on June 2, 1989 and together they shared 27 ½ years of marriage and raised three children before his passing on January 10, 2017. Martha was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling to her favorite vacation spot of Las Vegas, she loved going to the different casinos and reading, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Martha was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Martha is survived by her three children, Paul D. (Tiffany) Miller II of Tawas City, Elizabeth L. Miller of Saginaw, and Troy M. Miller of East Tawas; grandchildren, Lydia and Barrett Miller; her brother and sister Martin (Jan) Nowosad, Jr. and Patricia Nowosad both of Saginaw, brothers and sisters in laws, John Hewitt of Saginaw, Kieth Baker of Gatesville, Texas, and Audra (Michael) Buzzard of Saginaw; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and very special friends, Julee and Terry Popielarz. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Betty Nowosad, her husband Paul, and her sister and brother, Nancy Holley and Nicholas Nowosad. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at 9:30 AM until the time of service.
