Mark was a great asset to education. I worked at the school when he was on the school board and have had many conversations with him about education. I was proud to be able to publish "Mark's Notes" in the Hale Area Voice newspaper and proud to call him a friend. He will be missed by many.

We want to extend our sincere sympathies to Mark’s family, friends and the Hale community.

Mark was an all around great guy. From the goofy kid I graduated with, to the genuine guy that helped us with understanding the struggles our daughter was going through when she was wheelchair bound at 23. Mark educated us on things we’d never thought of.

Once again, we are very sorry for your loss.
