Obituary Notice

Marilyn J. DeVita, age 87, a resident of Glennie passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 20, 1933 at Hubbard Lake. She was the daughter of Henry and Bernadette Scriver. Marilyn married Ken DeVita on July 26, 1952 in Detroit Michigan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ken DeVita of Glennie, two daughters Dawn (Jim) Thornton of Lexington, Ohio and Michele DeVita of Arizona City, Arizona and two sons Ken (Theresa) DeVita of Surprise, Arizona and Kevin (Carol) DeVita of Maidens, Virginia, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Bernadette Scriver, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

A memorial honoring Marilyn’s life will be scheduled at a future date.


Per Marilyn’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3639 South M-65, Glennie, MI 48737
