Obituary Notice

Marguerite R. James, age 71, of Prescott, formerly of St. John, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center-West Branch. She was born on November 6, 1947 in Big Rapids, MI to Myron & Florence (Swarthout) Hendrick. She loved playing cards, dice and fishing.

Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Rodney) Warren of Herron, MI; son, Daniel (Tiffany) Bartsch of Flint, MI; special friend, Roger Addair of Prescott, MI; grandchildren, Kole (Courtney) Warren of Houghton Lake, MI, James Bowser of Rose City, MI, Cassandra (Sean) Molloy of Rose City, MI, Austin Bartsch of Flint, MI, Sierra Bartsch of Flint, MI, Albert Gonzales of WI, Gabe Bartsch of Flint, MI; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Myron (Nirmala) Hendrick, Terry Rizzon, Max (Jill) Miller, Kathleen (John) Anderson, Thomas (Aleta) Hendrick, Helen Hendrick, Patricia Hendrick, Suzie Hendrick. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 9 to 11 am at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott. Services will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 with Pastor Doug Kennedy officiating. Interment will take place later that afternoon at Roseland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, MI. Online condolences may be made to the family at
