In 1981, Lyle and Jacklyn started a new adventure and opened Felske's Market in East Tawas. They worked together and operated the market until their retirement in 1997. Lyle enjoyed hunting, bird watching, flying planes and going to the casino and most of all fishing on beautiful Tawas Bay. He was a member of the Iosco County Flying Club.
