Obituary Notice

Larry W. Willett of Au Gres, Mich., passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, Mich., after a brief illness.
Larry was born in Omer, Mich., to the late Wayne S. Willett and Eileen M. (Miller) Redmond. He graduated from Standish-Sterling High School in 1960. Larry was employed at Buick in Flint, Mich., until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Larry will be remembered for his ability to fix anything and for being a handyman to many.
Larry was a loving father and grandfather to his children, Rhonda (Michael) Zofchak of Flushing, Mich., Mark (Paula) Willett of Crystal River, Fl.; grandchildren, Anthony and Olivia Zofchak, and Chase Rosencrantz; great grandfather to Marley May Rosencrantz. He is also survived by siblings, Carol (Kenneth) Schmidt of Bentley, Richard (Francine) Willett of Standish; longtime companion Marcia Colvin of Au Gres; many nieces and nephews, and special friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma L. Willett.
