Kurt, you were my travel buddy who we went on adventures to create memories to last a lifetime. I was 22 and you were 19. I lied to my Dad and told him my work was moving me from Tawas to Midland. We were Michigan National Bank buddies, you, Me and Jeff Dodson. (He is waiting up there in the heavens for you to start shaking up the clouds with you) You were kind enough to allow me to rent a room in your apartment for about 6 months till I found my own place. I was your roommate in downtown Midland when you lived above Casa Del Rey. Gee, how many nights did we crawl up those stairs to our apartment after we had too many margaritas? We took our first trip to Ft Lauderdale Florida, we drove & got lost in Miami. You were 21 & I was 24, not a fear in the world driving around the streets of Mee-iami. The next year we went to Montiago Bay Jamaica & let a young 10 year old local boy give us a "what we were told would be 30 minutes, "4 hour walking tour through the streets of Montiago Bay. Gee, I must of had about 100 locals ask me, "Do you have any ganja"? I did not know what that was initially, however learned very quickly from the scent in the air. We rented mopeds and drove from Monteago Bay To Negril. I wiped out and skid down the road and you just wanted my picture, wait, did you ask if I was ok?, Yup, after you got the picture. We all laughed.😛
The next year we went to St Croix in the Virgin Islands and we rented a jeep and drove in the mountains thru 12 foot tall grass...Gee, did we even know we could of easily drove over a cliff.🤔. Then drove thru the rain forest and watched the locals play their steel drums. Till this day, every time I see a movie with rain Forest, I think of this moment with you my friend. The next year we went back to Jamaica and walked the falls at Ochios Rios. The next year we went to The Bahamas with all our work friends. Oh Kurt we created such fond, happy, loving memories. We both moved on and created our own families and kept distant contact. The heavens have gained an angel. You are now with Brenda, your Dad and Jeff. Shake up those clouds and rattle those Pearly gates. Until we see each other again, I send much love to you. Kristen, I'm sending BIG BIG hugs to you.

Oh Diane, and kids.. Another great loss to all of you.. Losing a child is such a devastation. I’m expecting that he was met, with open arms by. His dad, and they’re talking boats and such, together. You have my deepest sympathy. I saw a quote the other day that I will be remembering,,,I’ll share it here...’Love is stronger than death, and longer than life”...I’m sure he was a well loved man. Blessings
