Obituary Notice

Kimberly D. Smallwood, age 50, of Hale for the past 13 years, formerly of Madison Heights, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. She was born on December 11, 1968 in Howell, MI to Charles & Iona (Moss) Wedyke. Kim was a graduate of Royal Oak Dondero High School. She had worked as a bank branch manager. Kim enjoyed kayaking, camping, cooking, bowling, arts & crafts and family time.

Kim is survived by her sons, Brandon Wright of Hale, Trevor Smallwood of Hale, Austin Smallwood of Hale; mother, Iona Wedyke of Hale; sisters, Cheryl (David) Leiby of Glennie, Denise (Jeffrey) Rogers of Royal Oak; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles and a brother Charles Wedyke, Jr.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 11 am to 2 pm with a funeral service to follow the visitation at the Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington, Hale.
