Kent Allen Swartz
Age 55, a resident of National City, Michigan and a former resident of Flint, Michigan died under the loving care of his family and hospice at his home on Thursday, June 21, 2018. He was born the son of Robert and Margie (Adolphi) Swartz on October 11, 1962 in Flint, Michigan. Kent was a mechanic and enjoyed spending his time working on cars. He was a member of the Whittemore Speedway Club and his true passion was racing his car. He also enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling and spending time with his family and friends. Kent married his beloved wife Nancy Ann Osborn on September 29, 1997 in Tawas City and together they shared 21 years of marriage. Kent is survived by his wife and three daughters; Crystal, Jennifer and Rachel Swartz and his mother, Margie Swartz, his sister Melanie (Philip) Castanon, four grandchildren; Gavin Swartz – Barnes, Kaden Hogeland, Adalynn Zilliox and Brody Flathau, his nephew Calvin Swartz, and nieces; Danielle and Christina Castanon and two great nephews. Kent was preceded in death by his father Robert Swartz. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Tawas City, Michigan the family will greet friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
