Obituary Notice
Kenneth L. Saunders
Age 35, of Lake Nona, FL and formerly of Prescott, MI passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Orlando, FL. He was born on September 29, 1985 at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Gwinn, MI to Lloyd and Jill Saunders (nee Scharnagl). Ken graduated from Whittemore Prescott High School in 2004. He then attended the Art program at Kirtland Community College. Ken and his father opened Ken’s Party Store in Prescott, MI in 2006. He has traveled the world, he’s been skydiving twice, he played in a pool league and he most especially loved listening to his music and relaxing on his patio. Ken was proud of his tattoos and was an accomplished artist. He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Jill Saunders of Prescott, MI, brother Thomas (Staci) Saunders Prescott, MI, uncle Michael (Lorene) Saunders, uncle Larry (Cathy) Saunders, uncle Derek (Grace) Saunders, aunt Joy (Leonard) Weddel, aunt Jennifer (Dan) Shattuck; niece Brooke Saunders, nephew Thomas II and several loving cousins. Ken is also survived by three caregivers in Florida; Erin Seward, Meghan Seward, Stacy Russo and his paws for cause faithful companion, Sonny. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Ken loved hard and lived fast but his family was always at the top of his list. A private mass was held at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Prescott, MI and he was laid to rest in the Mill Township Cemetery.
