Obituary Notice

Julius W Boik passed away on November 2, 2018. Julius was born on September 15, 1937 in Royal Oak Michigan to Julius and Anna (Bielska). He married his high school sweetheart, Lorraine (Hernacki) on May 21, 1959 in Warren Michigan and together raised three children. Julius loved the Tawas area and was an avid fisherman. He had many friends who enjoyed laughs and stories in his barn. He was very proud of his service as a Marine and dearly loved his family. Julius is survived by his children, Kathleen (Michael) Davis of Gregory, Susan Fasbender (Jim Hillebrand ) of East Tawas and Joseph (Amy) Boik of Hessel; six grandchildren, Meagan Fasbender, Shane (Courtney) Fasbender, Noah Fasbender, Wyatt Boik, Joey Boik, and Michael (Jacqui) Davis Jr; two great-grandchildren, Lydia Fasbender and Aiden Reausseau; sister Shirley (Don) Handy, brother Emil (Denise) Boik, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. He will be truly missed by all... Semper Fi.

Iā€™m sorry to hear that Julius passed away. He seemed to have a knack for running into the carney boys whenever we were up visiting our mother. Always stopped and said hello and shot the bull for a while. May he Rest In Peace
