Obituary Notice

Joyce Squires, age 84, of Hale, passed away at her home on October 5, 2017. She was born on July 12, 1933 in Baldwin Twp, MI to the late Viva Sesler. She was a member of the Tawas and Hale VFW and American Legion. She enjoyed volunteering, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, taking care of her cats, and going to rummage sales.

Joyce is survived by her children, William (Jeannie) Squires of Whittemore, Rose Squires of Alger, and Michael (Koni) Squires of Texas; her brother, John Sawyer; her grandchildren, Jason Squires, Tamber Squires, Cheyanne Zimmerman, Rhonda Squires, and Erin Squires; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Squires; children, James and Eileen Squires; and siblings, David Sawyer, Evelyna Waynee, and Doris Warner.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Hale VFW Post 7435 in Hale, MI. Condolences may by left for the family at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
