Joseph I. Stephen, age 88, of South Branch, MI formerly of Genesee, passed away on April 11, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1927 in Vassar. He was a devoted father, and grandfather. He loved vegetable gardening, farm life, antique engines and farm machinery. He was a member of the Pioneer Power Club of West Branch, Mid-Michigan Antique Machinery Association of Clio and a member of the Whittemore Baptist Church and a WWII veteran of the US Army.

Joseph is survived by his children, Rod, Jenny, Brenda, Ted, Brad, and Jeff; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Pete & sister, Rose; special niece Ruth Ann Hart and special friend Ron; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Juanita; 4 sisters and 1 brother.
