Obituary Notice

John Jacobs
1963 – 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of John Edward Jacobs announces his passing after a long and hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home with his wife and daughter by his side. He was 55 years old.

He was born to the late Les Jacobs and Lee (Ciszek) Jacobs on May 10, 1963 in Bay City.
John married the love of his life April (Glenn) originally from Newberry, Mi. on January 29, 1993.
John is a 1981 graduate of Bay City Central High School and went straight into working as a Rigger for various Companies over the years. He was with the Riggers Local 575 and Ironworkers Local 25 as a Rigger until he retired.

John loved spending time with his family and friends. You were greeted with a big smile and a hug or handshake whenever he saw you. He loved to share jokes, or a funny story and many laughs were shared. Hard working and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
He was an avid fisherman whether it was on the river shore, in a boat 20 miles out, or in an ice shanty he was there. Loved to hunt, and the great outdoors.

John has a new life in heaven without pain and suffering, he will be greatly missed until we meet again.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years April (Glenn) Jacobs; daughters: Johnna Jacobs and
Misty (Ezra Jr.) Grays; grandchildren: Allison and Abigail Grays.
brothers and sisters; Ronnie Jacobs, Mike (Pat) Jacobs, Pat (Lynne) Jacobs, Joni (Rick) Trudell,
Cheri (Dean) Sharrard, Sue Hayward, and Leslie Surgeson; sister in law: Irene Rodden;
and many nieces and nephews.
