The Allison family were my second family and their home and cottage was my second home. Jerry was always the older brother that we always wanted to be like. We looked up to him in every way. Now there is an empty spot in my heart. We love you all.
— Sid and Kathie Disbrow

Phyllis I was so saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I hadn't realized he was so sick. My heart goes out to you...he was such a nice guy.
May God help you through this difficult time.

What I remember about Jerry was the timber of his voice and yet such a gentle man. Rest in peace my friend

Know that our hearts are so sad at hearing of Jerry's passing. We know that he is in a far better place reunited with your son. We will miss Jerry as no doubt so many of his friends and family will. God Bless you Phyllis and Amy.

Phyllis, I will always be greatful for how welcoming Jerry was to me when I started at FHS 25 years ago. He was gracious and so willing to share all that he knew to let me grow, I hope I can pass that on to our staff!
Rosemary and I are so sorry for your loss!
— Bob Crawford
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I worked with Jerry at FHS in 1992-?. I was the school liaison officer. He was so sweet and friendly and great to work with. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. God Bless You.
— Christine Schutz (Guinan)
Phyllis; Jerry was a great neighbor and Nancy and I have many fond memories of Jerry's friendly outgoing manner. I enjoyed Jerry's mild temperament while at FHS. No problem was every too much for Jerry. He developed a trust among the staff and his door was always open. He never second guessed anyone and was a true favorite with students and staff.
— Richard Cook
Frank and I shared many happy times with Phyllis and Jerry at the Holiday Rambler activities. Jerry was always there to help whenever needed. Phyllis, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
— Marge Covert
Phyllis- I am so sorry. It has been a lot of years since we have seen each other. It has been since you stopped subbing. Praying for you!

I started my teaching career in the job just vacated by Jerry. It was a hectic time with several new IA teachers in the department, and moving into a brand new facility in the middle of the winter. Jerry was very helpful to us newbies, and his helpful and friendly demeanor helped everyone get through that tumultuous year.
