I was so saddened & surprised to hear of Jay's passing. I have so many fond memories of our years together growing up, hanging out together at each others house and with others kids in the neighborhood such as the Jacobson's. I remember all the musical 'shows' we put on in the shed in his back yard too for Dee and my mom (yikes-I hope their ears have healed!) He will be greatly missed but forever loved in the hearts of those who knew him.

Very sad to hear this, I have many memories of Jay growing up. From old records, guitar tunes pickled pigs feet and the blue Jeep too. I know that he is at peace. My heart goes out to his family.

I was saddened to tears to hear of Jay's death. I am praying for him, for all his family and for all who knew him. Even through this sadness, I smile at my memories of him. While I've know Jay since we were both toddlers and through school, I confess to having lost track of him after leaving town. But he holds a special, happy place in my heart and mind. May God bless, strengthen and comfort all of you.

We are deeply saddened by this news. Jay was one of a kind. Always had a smile on his face, and a joke to tell. We stayed in touch through the years. We have a lot of very fond memories with Jay. He will be forever missed.

My condolences to you and the family. You put up with a lot of crap while Jay and I were growing up over a lot of years. I know we were a handful but you always seemed to laugh about it. He was like a brother to me for many years, I don’t know what happened to us but we grew apart... that is the way life is unfortunately. Please tell him I will always remember the good times and life lessons we learned over the years...and I will always remember him.....
