Obituary Notice

Janet Louise Hall, of Oscoda, formerly of West Branch, passed away Monday April 16, 2012 at her home, age 72. Janet was born on May 3, 1939 in West Branch to Ross and Myrtel H. (Dalgleish) VanWormer. She married her husband, Joseph Hall 53 years ago. Janet was a hard working woman who stayed home and raised their children. Those who knew her remember how she truly enjoyed bowling, traveling, shopping QVC, taking their dog Casey for rides in the car, knitting, and most of all spending quality time with her grandchildren. Janet is survived by her husband, Joseph Hall of Oscoda; their three children, Jim Hall, Joyce Duprey, and Jean Bridgman; 10 grandchildren, Steven Hill, R.J. Hill, Mariah Bridgman, Jason Bridgman, Wyatt DeOrnellas, Sarah Stewart, Joe, James, and D.J. Burden, and Taylor Duprey; 12 great grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters, Roma Ursel, David VanWormer, Judy Zak, Dennis VanWormer, Sue Stanley, and Doug VanWormer; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Janet is preceded in death by her parents Ross and Myrtle VanWormer, and her daughter, Julia Hill. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday April 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda with Reverend Rob Nordin officiating. Her family will welcome friends for visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Cremation will follow the funeral service and a burial of her cremated remains will take place in the Oscoda Pinecrest Cemetery at a later date.
